After joining the team here on October 2, I hit the ground running with Weddings, Weddings, Weddings!
We had a wonderful time working with DYV Events’ Michelle Stewart on an intimate wedding reception in the Atrium of the Arkansas Arts Center on October 7!
The couple chose mahogany chiavari chairs for their round tables, covered in shades of ivory, navy blue, eggplant and moss green. The place settings featured square mirror chargers, white porcelain triangle salad plates, linen napkins, and a single blush rose.
The bride, an artist, created tiny chalkboard/easel place cards for each guest with a rose seal that corresponded in color to their meal choice! How creative! She also fashioned one of a kind table number dioramas which demonstrated her whimsical side.
Romantic floral arrangements were provided by Tanarah Luxe Floral. They included tall iron “trees” with hanging votives and gorgeous blooms in burgundy, blush, purple and ivory.
The menu included tossed Caesar Salad, served table-side, traditional Southern biscuits, and choices of either Braised Beef Short Rib, Chicken Piccata, or Vegetarian Sun Dried Tomato Pasta.
The cake, by Natalie Madison, was a work of art, featuring a stained glass appearance topped by two sweet hummingbirds.
There were two additional seating areas with plush couches, chairs, and banquettes from Hank’s Event Rentals that were very popular with the guests after dinner.
Please enjoy these pictures of the décor and set up, and visit these phenomenal vendors for your wedding and event needs!
